Take My Life...

Jamie's devotional from Wednesday morning is playing over and over in my heart tonight. He has called us to work with His children for His glory. Tonight, through hard work and dedication, these children pointed to His glory! There are moments in life, it seems, the veil between heaven and earth thins and we are blessed with a glimpse of heaven. Tonight, for me, was one of those moments. I pray it was for you as well. God's kingdom is coming. Let's keep working!

If parents ask, the program was recorded and we will make that available asap. I'll keep you posted on that.

Only a few reminders for this week's post:

Kid Town
Remember that Kid Town is in the gym next week. Jenna and Sheri, are we setting up the gym after school on Friday? Many hands make light work. Plus, we all seem to have a really great time when we work together...or do anything together for that matter. Just say the word and we'll get a work crew in order.

Tulip Time
Only two weeks away. Please remind your parents that we'll have 1/2 days on Wednesday and Thursday on May 6 and May 7. May 8 is reserved as a rain day for the children's parade. Your Tulip Time crafting supplies will be in house next week.

Class List Meetings
How does this sound? Any scheduling conflicts on your end?
First Grade Class List meeting: Monday, May 11 at 7:30 a.m. Second Grade Class List meeting: Tuesday, May 12 at 7:30 a.m. Kindergarten Class List meeting: Thursday, May 14 at 7:30 a.m. Come with your notes and preliminary list ideas.

Branding/HC Story
Have you had a chance to sign up for your slot? You only have to do one, but you certainly may do two! :)

Batons
Just a gentle reminder. We won't do a baton writing party because, to be honest, we probably won't get much accomplished other than snarfing pizza and laughing. We're aiming for those to be completed by the last week of school.

Speaking of Lunch...
Our next Love, Logic and Lunch will take place on Thursday, May 14. Lunch will be provided this time thanks to the very grateful parent team.

Speaking of Grateful Parents...(enjoying the segues?)
Don't pack a lunch on Friday, May 15. The parent team will be treating us that day. Please partake to show acceptance of their appreciation.
