Guess what! It's Taco Friday tomorrow!!! Leftovers perhaps, but still. No need to pack a PB & J from home again. Thank you for your continued good work here at South Side. The tacos meagerly tell the story, you are LOVED, VALUED and APPRECIATED!

Reformation Day Plans
Can be found here. Thank you for your willingness to walk our students through learning experiences that dip their toes into the truths which frame our faith in God. I hope and pray this is a valuable learning time for our students.

Differentiated Classroom
How are you doing with the reading of this book? All teachers K-12 are going to engage with the practical application of this book during our PD in November. Our agreed upon goal was to be prepared to discuss and even reflect on a few aspects of this book you have utilized in your teaching during our November staff meeting.

October Staff Meeting 
We had a meeting scheduled in October, however, it is cancelled due to conflicts. Our next staff meeting will be November 9. Please come prepared to talk through the Differentiated Classroom material.

Work Order
I promised that I would put this link before you from time to time as custodial needs arise. Here is the form we have been requested to complete as needs arise.

Epi-pen Training 
Jane Borr has asked that we brush up on our epi pen skills. Would you be willing to hold a lunch and learn on Monday, September 25 from 12:10-12:20? She is willing to come during the noon hour if we are all willing to come during lunch. Please let me know if you have a conflict.

Our Sock and Underwear Drive
Thank you for posting this need in your blog. All of HC is going to adopt this cause along with a few other needs resulting from the recent hurricane. I hope Gross Elementary in Victoria, TX will be blessed with a plethora of little socks and underwear from our HC community. If people bring in more next week, we'll take them and add items to our district collection.

Chapel on October 18
We will once again hold a joint chapel with our friends at Beautiful Gate! Due to the seven hour differential between our zone and theirs, we will need to hold chapel at 8:30 on Wednesday, October 18. If we start at 8:30, we should be able to clear out by 9:00 in time for our HC2 friends to hold their gym class. This is such a beautiful time of praise with our friends beautiful little friends in Lesotho, Africa.
